An overview of abortion in America.

Since the early 1700's laws have been on the books to limit a female's right to obtain an abortion legally. With time, the laws have evolved greatly. At first, the practice was totally banned all together. Later on abortion became more acceptable by the general public and bans began to lift. In the present day, abortion is legal but there are many limitations and obstacles a female must face before obtaining an abortion.

This site will present information I have gathered over the past year pertaining to abortion and how it has evolved. My goal is to provide a nonbiased overview of the laws governing abortion.
